Handcrafted terrain · Made in Mzansi
Build worlds worth exploring.
Howzit, adventurer. I'm Sean — a Dungeon Master with a workshop, a coffee habit and far too many d20s. I create modular dungeons, crumbling ruins and encounter-ready terrain for your table, made to order right here in South Africa.

Things I've been creating.
Every piece is made to order, cleaned up by hand and checked on my own gaming table before it goes anywhere. See something you like? Tap it for the details, then send me a message — no baskets, no checkouts, just a chat.

Adventure set
This month's big build
The Haunted Graveyard
My favourite thing I've made so far. A full, modular cemetery for one-shots, campaigns and skirmish nights — everything in the photo, ready to lay out on a 2 × 2 ft table and scare your players silly.
- Raised crypt with guardians
- Ruined chapel arch
- Skull-pillared gates
- 60 cm of stone walls
- 12 headstones & crosses
- 2 gnarled dead trees
No shopping carts. Promise.
How ordering works.
It's just you and me. You tell me what you're after, I make it, and it's on its way to you — usually within a week, anywhere in South Africa.

Custom orders & advice
Got something in mind?
Your party is heading into a dwarven forge next Friday and you've got nothing but a battle mat? Tell me about it. I love helping people plan their tables — even if you end up not ordering a thing.

Running a published adventure? I'll put together the key locations so the big moments hit harder.
Expanding what you own
Already have OpenLOCK-style terrain? I can create matching tiles, walls and doors to grow it.
Table planning & advice
Not sure how much terrain a 4-hour session needs? I'll help you get the most from a small budget.
Painted display pieces
Want it table-ready? I paint the odd showcase piece on request — ask and I'll quote.
The person behind the dungeon
One maker. One workshop. A lot of dungeons.
To Dungeons Deep isn't a company with a warehouse. It's me, a spare room in Johannesburg, and a love for tabletop games that started with a borrowed Player's Handbook and never really stopped.
I got tired of waiting months for imported terrain — and paying import fees on top — so I started creating my own. My players loved it. Their friends asked for some. And here we are.
Everything I make, I'd happily put on my own table. If it isn't right, I'll make it right. And if you just want to talk dungeons, the kettle's always on.

Tales from the table
What fellow adventurers say.
★★★★★“The crypt set made our Strahd finale. My players actually gasped when I put it on the table. Arrived in Durban four days after I paid.”
★★★★★“Sean helped me work out exactly what I needed for a Frostgrave table on a tight budget. Super friendly, and the detail takes paint beautifully.”
★★★★★“Asked for a custom goblin tavern on a Monday, had it by Saturday. Lekker quality and it fits my existing OpenLOCK tiles perfectly.”

Good to know
Questions, answered.
Can't find what you're looking for? Just ask — I usually reply within a few hours (unless I'm mid-session).
Ask me anythingHow are the pieces made?
Each piece is created layer by layer on my workshop machine in a durable matte stone-grey material (PLA), then cleaned up, checked and fit-tested by hand. It's tough enough for years of game nights and takes primer and paint beautifully.
Do they arrive painted?
No — everything arrives unpainted in stone grey, so you can make it your own. It looks good on the table as-is, but a quick primer, wash and dry-brush brings it to life. Painted pieces are available on request.
What scale is it?
Everything is designed for 28–32 mm miniatures — D&D, Pathfinder, Frostgrave, Mordheim and the like. Floors follow the standard 1-inch grid, and modular pieces are OpenLOCK-compatible.
How long does it take?
Most orders are ready within 2–5 days of payment, depending on size. Delivery then takes 1–3 working days. I'll always give you a firm date before you pay.
How much is delivery?
PUDO locker-to-locker from R65, or door-to-door courier from R110 anywhere in South Africa. Collection in Johannesburg is free — come say hi.
How do I pay?
Once we've agreed on your order, I'll send my banking details and you pay by EFT. As soon as it reflects, I start creating. No card details, no accounts, no fuss.
What if something breaks in transit?
It happens occasionally, even with careful packing. Send me a photo and I'll recreate the broken piece and send it out at no charge.
Your table awaits
Where will your party go next?
Raise a village around them. Build the crypt they should never enter. Give your next session somewhere unforgettable to happen — and let me help you create it.
